Media: Stream Jane's Addiction's "Up From the Catacombs"

AOL is hosting a full album stream of the new Jane's Addiction retrospective titled Up From the Catacombs. The 16-song disc is culled from the band's studio albums, and is due out tomorrow.

Formed in the 1980s, the band's sound was once described by their frontman (and Lollapalooza founder) Perry Farrell as a cross between Bad Brains and Duke Ellington.

Not really...Dave Navarro and Perry Farrell dont like each other too much. A lot of people think its because Perry is still into drugs and shit

Nothing's Shocking is fucking great, a damn classic. Ritual wasn't bad, everything after that isn't worth your time.

you can also stream the Lupe Fiasco record there. much more interesting, the NFG record is up too if anyone cares. personally i liked it but i've heard a lot of people hate it

you know you are old when kids say that the first band you ever saw live sucks and they have a greatest hits come out on rhino. and when jane's addiction is just referred to as "one of dave navarros other bands." well, gotta cash my social security check. theres a new better than ezra box set coming out.

this band hasn't been around in a while. he is a new shitty band with the drummer and one of the later fill in bass players though. i think its called the panic channel, not to be confused with the panic division who are actually pretty damn good

When i heard Nothings Shocking i never knew Navarro wanted to be a silly rockstar the whole time.
How come that guy cant write another good song? pretty funny. The first record which was supposedly faked to sound live was good too.

They all suck now but you cant take those few records away. I guess Navarro gets a pass.
