Underground Operations sign I Hate Sally

Underground Operations has announced the signing of Kingston, Ontario-based I Hate Sally. The band will be making their UO debut with the release of Don't Worry Lady on October 24th.

The band promises a "whirlwind of chaotic beauty" on the record which was mixed by chaos expert Kurt Ballou (Converge).

Anyone know if there are any side-projects from Closet Monster/Bombs over Providence?

adam from bombs has started a side project but theres been no offical announcement/music/shows any of the like.

I have a hunch that bombs and UO didn't get along towards the end

And the other Adam (from Closet Monster) was rumoured to be starting a new project a few months ago with some old pal of his. Let's hope!

I loved Bombs and CM. It's a shame my favourite UO bands collapsed in such rapid succession. However, Hostage Life stepped up to the plate and filled the void with their full length. This is getting a little too off topic, so I will stop now.

I miss Bombs Over Providence and Closet Monster. Much better than this.

I was fortunate enough to see both bands towards the end of their careers.

I love these kids.

And to everyone that is trashing them now....don't worry. You just don't know how cool they are yet. You'll catch on eventually.

I have nothing against them at all. I'm just not into the screaming. I'm sure they put on a fantastic live show, though.

UO is the 2nd or 3rd best label in canada. CM, Bombs, Protest, HL, DL Dept. etc.

Smallman and Stomp still owns it ass with Moneen, Comeback Kid, The Reason, Choke and Bedouin, SUBB, The Flats, Johnstones, etc.
