Why the fuck does every post on this site get replied with unrleated posts from elitist fucks?

I'm starting to think it's the 'punks' who rob the touring bands. No one just randomly sees a van by a club and decides to rob it of it's musical equipment w/out a plan. Most of the bands that get their stuff stolen are not very 'big' bands, so i would assume the only people who would know about the show are people related to that particular scene. It happens way too much in many different cities to be anything else. thoughts?

hope they snatch up the thieves. prolly anarchists, most of them tend to think that stealing is OK for some reason.

They should get on stage and play air guitar! I'm not trying to make light of the situation, it certainly sucks, but it would be funny if they just went on tour did acapella voacals and payed air guitar and air drums!

I'm not meaning to be a dick here, as I have yet to hear this band, but I am aware that they're on tour with Dead To Me, and I'll be attending the Chicago show.

So, what I care about is that Dead To Me is fine. Yup. Me loves my Dead To Me.

perhaps bands should go on pre-emptive tour Rob-A-Thons. Months before a tour they should just start robbing the ever-live'n shit out of every van within a 80 mile radius, then when they get robbed its just Karma and everyone simply nodds to the universe and goes about there day without ever having to cry about a few missing instruments.

I don't understand why people say "good! That band sucks" regardless of whether or not you like a person or a band. Having shit stolen sucks. Its a sad state of affairs in punk rock when people have absolutely no sympathy for a touring band who gets fucked. Stay at home with your record collection and shitty job. And well stay on the road and on floors and not eat. This is about people helping people. And loving punk rock because its given me my entire life.

The Riverboat Gamblers are a great group of guys who have paid more than their share of dues. If you don't particularly care for their music, that's fine. You don't have to buy their album or go see them on tour, but it's a really shitty situation for any band to be in and anyone who is happy that any band's gear gets stolen is a dick. In fact, it's people like you who would do something this shitty.
