Colossal have announced that they've parted ways with Eli Caterer. The band had this to say:

Eli had been practicing with us on and off since last winter, but his schedule with the Smoking Popes has been too much of a hinderance to his time spent with Colossal. We wrote a few really cool tunes with Eli and enjoyed the time he was back in the band, but it was just not working out timewise. We're not sure who will replace him or when, but we'll tell you as soon as that happens.

The band promises a new Colossal record will happen eventually and that they plan on "[getting] our shit together by early 2007."
