We'll put up some of the songs when they are done and we are happy with them. They sound nothing like audiokarate songs, they're a lot of keys and funny instruments and have Art singing in a bunch of funny keys. I've been taking backseat to some limited guitar work and am mostly producing and sound engineering while Art drinks heavily and spills out the ideas. It's a very fun change of pace and we are very happy with the results thus far.It was also mentioned that the next Audio Karate album is in the works, but no particulars in terms of a release date or future tour dates were confirmed. Audio Karate released Lady Melody in 2004.
Members of Audio Karate working on the score and soundtrack to the independent film "Maquillaje." The Spanish language film was written and directed by Marcial Rios and completed the festival circuit earlier this year. The band describes the work as "kind of a dark thing about botched love and suicide and all those fun things." Jason Camacho talked about the progress:
