Only listened to the first song and it already convinced me to buy it. Having Keeley in the band has done wonders for Sparta.

This album sucks. Sparta used to be one of my favorite bands. This CD is a huge letdown.

i can only listen to the first track because myspace sucks, but i like it already. these guys are one of my favorites. and they use the same television news clip as the old Fensler Film mock G.I. Joe PSAs. those were fucking hilliarious.

I also think this album is a huge letdown after how great some of the songs on Porcelain were. I don't get how anybody can say this sounds like Wiretap Scars, it doesn't sound like either of their albums at all to me. It just sounds weird. I was really excited to hear this record when I found out Keely is in the band now having been a big fan of the last 2 Engine Down records, but to me this sounds like none of the things I loved best about Sparta and Egnine Down. I also don't get what Jim's going for with his vocal stylings on some of the songs. I can't describe it exactly, but like I said before, it's just fucking weird. I really expected more negative comments, too; I guess I must be missing something.

I'm digging it so far. I don't see why it's considered so weird. It could be worse....this could be a Mars Volta album.
