Media: Straylight Run previews new song, looking for a new label

SPIN Magazine has posted an exclusive interview and new track from Straylight Run. You can check it out here. The band is currently shopping around their upcoming album, tentatively titled The Miracle That Never Came, the title track of which can be heard in the interview.

The band is headed out on tour soon in anticipation of the album, which follows their Prepare to Be Wrong EP and self-titled debut full-length

I really didn't like what I heard off the debut but I thought it sold pretty well. At least well enough for Victory to keep 'em. Was I wrong?

They weren't the typical "Victory" band.

Still..one of the better bands out there. Way the fuck better than NoFx

They did not want to be on Victory. They were only filling a contractual obligation that started with TBS.

I hope they never find a label- they are the worst band I have ever heard. When I saw them I literally fell alseep they were so incredibly boring.
