'A Santa Cause II' track listing, release date announced

Immortal Records have posted the partial tracklisting for their upcoming digital-only compilation A Santa Cause II, which will be sold exclusively through MySpace beginning November 21st. A portion of the proceeds from the compilation will benefit Cure Autism Now, an organization "dedicated to accelerating the pace of scientific research to prevent, treat and cure autism."

The first Santa Cause compilation was released in 2003 and featured Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, and New Found Glory, among others.

Horrible bands, but a few names on there should sell a few recods, if that raises money for autism research I'm all for it!!! But I won't listen to this crap!!

I worked with a handful of highly functional autistic kids when I ran a summer camp. It was such a heart wrenching thing. I felt bad because 90% of the staff treated them like they were retarded.

The kids I worked with were not highly functional, most people when they think of autism think of the savant, but the kids I worked with couldn't speak more than a couple of words. We had to teach them how to sign for what they wanted, trace patterns, identify like objects, etc. I was kicked, spit at, bitten and hit on a daily basis and I loved every fucking minute of it.

Mixing Punk and Christmas used to be alright - The Vandals, The Yobs, the Happy Birthday Baby Jesus comp - but lately, it sucks. This sucks. Christmas sucks. Bah! Humbug!
