Dude, until CBGB announced they were closing like a year and a half ago, they hadn't had a good show in years. Then, after the announcement, good bands jumped on the bandwagon. Anyone who goes to shows in NYC knows that CBGB was one of the WORST live venues. We need more small venues in the city, thats for sure, but dont get caught up in CBGB hype. Or do get caught up in. whatever
