Skatepunk veterans the Offspring have started to work on their next album. The band has enlisted producer Bob Rock to handle duties on the switches, and currently have a few demos to begin with. The album is expected to drop sometime in 2007, followed by a world tour.
This album will mark the first new material since 2003's Splinter. Sony Music Entertainment (112 comments)

I think it's hilarious that they wanted to call "Splinter" "Chinese Democracy: You Snooze You Lose" to make fun of how long Chinese Democracy was taking, and the Offspring's already got another album coming out. 2+ Replies

So this band completely died after Ixnay, their last good album...and by about a mile. Americana wasn't even half as good. 2+ Replies
