Circa Survive have sent us a progress update as they work on their next full length and follow up to 2005's Juturna. The band had this to say:

For the next month or so we will be wrapping up the writing process that we started a few months back. At this point there is so much new material that it'd be silly to try and describe an overall sound or something like that. We are, however, extremely enthusiastic. Right now we have no idea if any of the new songs that we've played on tour, Fuse, etc; will make it to the new record… So don't ask!

This is a good thing and you should see it as such. Over the next couple months we will attempt to give you little windows into our writing and recording processes through [our various websites].

The band has also confirmed that they will be recording with producer Brian Mcternan at his Salad Days Studios in Baltimore,MD.
