A new PSA featuring members of Paramore, Early November. Amber Pacific, Silverstein, and Matchbook Romance from the 2006 edition of the Take Action! Tour has been made available online. As you may recall, the Take Action! Tour focused on the 1-800-HOPELINE, a service designed to help those at risk of suicide.
It was shot in front of the 9:30 Club in Washington DC earlier this year by Roy LaManna for Rive Video. Subcity Records (32 comments)

I may be wrong, but dont these bands have lyrics about slitting wrists and being severely depressed over small problems like getting dumped by your 14 year old girlfriend? 3+ Replies

Remember when the Take Action tour had bands with even remotely activist tendecies? Like Anti-flag, Thursday, Common Rider and Cursive? Those were the days. 3+ Replies

Is this going to be on TV? Because I seriously doubt hosting it at their website is going to help much.

wow. the predictable and unfunny remarks made here are ALMOST more sad than someone committing suicide. but i guess instead of growing up and realizing it's for a good cause and giving it some credit, there were always be completely grown men who will tear into anything because it's not "punk" enough for them. well done, guys. pat yourselves on the back if you can put down your PBR long enough 2+ Replies

if these bands would stop making music i would become 1000x happier, making me less likely to kill myself.
