Danzig's equipment truck stolen on tour

Glenn Danzig and his namesake band, Danzig, had an equipment truck stolen on Nov. 30 in L.A. Fans that showed up to the final "Blackest of the Black" tourdate in Santa Cruz were treated to a show comprising only of the opening bands, and a seven dollar refund at the door.

Danzig was quoted as saying:

I should be able to kill somebody if they fuck with me.

Glenn Danzig released his solo (separate from Danzig - confusing, right?) album, Black Aria II last month.

wow....that sucks.......the show at the Wiltern on the 29th was amazing....the best I have ever seen from Danzig. Hopefully he doesn't lose too much of his cool over this, he can be one hot headed person.

No, the dude robbed a Quicky Mart and then tried to outrun the cops with a stolen U-haul. U-Hauls are used by bands on tour. Danzig most likely used a U-Haul. There is the joke. There was no mention of race. So stop staring at the race card.

Social D. played two nights at HOB Orlando a couple of years ago, on the first night, Mike Ness was ill and couldn't make the show. Tiger Army and the Explosion both played for free, and those who couldn't make the second show were given a full refund. I agree with the person above and I find it bit ridiculous that the headlining act didn't play and their solution was "oh well, here's seven bucks!" Assuming that the ticket price was considerably more than seven dollars!

You had the option to see all of the opening bands for a 7 dollar refund, its a full refund minus service charges if you choose not to.

Damn, Social D had some bad luck in Fla on that tour. They played here in Ft. Laud the night after Orlando for the (re)opening of a club. The Explosion and Tiger Army both played their sets ... Social D gets about three or four songs into theirs when the sound system totally cut out.

Ness and co. tried to salvage it by playing acoustic at the front of the stage (Matt Freeman borrowed a green standup bass from Tiger Army). I think they got "Story of My Life" off before realizing it wasn't working.

Oh yeah ... zero refund.

wow you guys are kings of intellect.....I'll admit from what I've seen Danzig may not be the nicest person out there, but I've never actually met him so how can I judge? All you morons seem to be able to do is post the Northside Kings video over and over again......a bunch of guys who are bigger assholes than anyone. Apparently that incident wasn't the first time they purposely caught into a physical altercation with another band while being filmed- why do you think the shithead yells out "Northside Kings undefeated!". Danzig may or may not be a prick, but that's not important....what is important is that the shithead in the Northside Kings needs to get knocked the fuck out.......maybe next time he'll pick a fight with someone who ISN'T 50 FUCKING YEARS OLD!
