San Fran folk/punk group Trainwreck Riders recently produced a video for their song "Christmas Time Blues" just in time for the holidays. Last week the band hit the streets with a super 8 camera and a bag full of costumes that they had dug up from their basements. They started the day at "Drink Liquor" (where they used to buy alcohol at in high school), picked up some 40 oz's of Olde English as inspiration, and shot a video at some of the stomping grounds discussed in the song.

Tire Beach, Fell and Stanyan...I love San Francisco. Pete and the boys are great.

I love the video. I'm a native San Franciscan, and I'm sick of seeing touristy shots in all videos. I don't like the song, though.

Got a couple of good shots of my headlands. This video definitely brings out the christmas time blues for not being in the bay right now. Great song too. | Features
