Totimoshi signs to Volcom

San Francisco-based punk/metal trio Totimoshi have signed to Volcom Records. The label will begin by re-releasing the band's 2006 album, Ladron which was initially released via Crucial Blast Records.

The re-release is due out Match 6th 2007, and the band has earned comparisons to the Melvins, Oxbow, the Meat Puppets and early Sub Pop proto-grunge acts.

Yeah, word on the street is Volcom is throwing lots of money around in hopes of creating a legit record label. They supposedly dropped over 30K to sign Die Hunns too. I don't expect this label to be around for very long with genius signings like this.

they've been doing it since '95, more than 10 years, so it's prob safe to say they arent going away anytime soon.The Riverboat Gamblers and Valient Thorr legitmize it any way.

True, but it's just recently that they've tried to throw all this money around which is a big mistake for a bunch of bands people hardly care about.
