Red Scare Update: TBR hometown show, Jeg on the radio, album titles for Sundowner & Copyrights

The Chairman dropped us a line with some updates for Red Scare Industries just in time for the holidays.

First up is a December 26th hometown performance by Teenage Bottlerocket in their hometown of Laramie, Wyoming. Reversing time a bit, on the 23rd Mr. Jeg will be on the air in Seattle on KNDD 107.7 with Rob Femur's Gabba Gabba Hey around midnight. You can find information here.

Sundowner, Chris McCaughan of the Lawrence Arms' solo moniker, has titled his upcoming debut Four One Five Two. Carbondale, IL's Copyrights have also titled their label debut Make Sound. Both are due out in March.

And last, but not quite least, the Falcon has a supposed music video that the label is "gonna post any day now."

it seems you hate the falcon, well its ok if you do but i do prefer the falcon over sundowner but they all rule

im not gonna be a little prick and base your taste on not liking one band thats loved by many, because i know you like good music

it's a combination of me liking Chris' songs a lot better than Brendan's and The Falcon just being a lesser version of TLA.

I know The Falcon sounds a little bit different than The Lawrence Arms, but you get the picture

I understand liking Chris more, that's a taste thing, but saying Falcon songs were 2nd rate is weird. Kelly has stated many times that the bands have nothing to do with one another. I think it's pretty different music.

Oh Calcutta = The Falcon ep for the most part, which is why Oh Calcutta was a bit of a disappointment for me, but I'll admit Unicornography is pretty different

To me they sound pretty different. I think it's just cause he's got such a distinct voice - you stick that on anything and it would sound a bit like the lawrence arms!

I'm really, really glad this label is around. I mean aside from keeping Toby off the street, it also puts out amazing music.
I'm truly suprised for as low budget as it's run they are able to put out so much music.

Chris's solo shit is fucking awesome.

The Falcon are fucking terrible. Easily the worst thing Brendan, Dan, and Neil have EVER had their names on.

And this is coming from someone that prefers Brendan's shit WAAAAAAAAY over Chris's shit in The Lawrence Arms.
