cannibal corpse are extremely boring live. The guitarists legs may have well just been nailed to the floor, the singers left foot onto the monitor in front of him because none of them moved for 70 minutes, and if they slighlty did, that position stuck for 30 minutes plus. That couple with 100 mph grindcore blastbeats with no tempo or vocal change is coma-inducing.

I hear the Riverboat Gamblers are a really boring live band, too

I like The Lawrence Arms too, but I don't see how they're any better than any other new Fat Wreck bands like The Loved Ones, The Falcon bore me though. Badly.

Western Addiction perhaps, I really like The Loved Ones and Love Equals Death, The Sainte Catherines are ok, I need to check out Dead To Me and Smoke Or Fire, love Strike Anywhere's new album too.

Absolutely not, I love Refused.

i think all the cds besides the shape of punk are sorta average, the shape of punk is a great cd-- did you ever hear the dvd audio re-release? id recommend that more since the sound is more full, and it seems that its the way its supposed to be

but when it comes down to it, i think shape of punk is a GREAT record nonetheless but its not exactly a MASTERPIECE in my opinion but yeah id give the re-release another shot, it seems like its one of those cds you have to "get"

Now you say that I only really got into The Shape Of Punk To Come, Songs To Fan The Flames Of Discontent was no better than average and then suddenly they released an incredible album in my top ten albums ever.

refused is rad. i kind of have not been listening to them much recently, less "hard" music, but it is necessary for fans of hardcore/metal.

shit, i got a pretentious black metal fan to love the shape.

apparition is a great song. Give me that and "Babylon" from Progress and I am set to get stoned.
