Media: The Rockvilles post title track from "Danger"

The Rockvilles have posted the title track from their upcoming PoorBoy Records debut, Danger. PoorBoy Records is promising the release, which was pushed back from fall 2006, "will most likely come out in the spring."

I don't think he sucks, but I'd prefer to hear him singer higher up in his vocal range. He definitely keeps everything way too low.

I will give their critics this: the singer definetly overdoes the whole Screeching Weasel/Ben Weasel/Riverdales vibe, as does the band. That isn't a bad thing in my mind, but it doesn't seem to fit their potential as a whole. Their stuff is tight and well-produced but you kinda wish they would mix it up slightly.

Mix it up? We've only heard one track off the new record so far. How do you know they don't mix it up more?

If you think they overdo to pop punk thing, you should check out Robby's other band. You might like them more.

But in responce to your comment, I'm not expecting the next Dead to Me or Green Day here. I'm simply playing on my first impressions. The songs come off with little variety, that's all.
