Go-Kart Records has unveiled their newest signing, Scranton, PA's the Menzingers. The "indie/reggae/punk" band is about to head into the studio to record their GK debut. Members have spent time in local bands like Bob and the Sagets. Their debut will feature songs from their self-released album A Lesson In The Abuse of Information Technology and is tentatively titled the same.

Of course, the band has samples from their self-released album at their MySpace page.

The band was featured as an Mp3 of the Week here at Punknews.org where they were described as mixing "raw lyrics, vocals with upbeat, fun rhythms and fast guitars while still keeping an intelligent edge." You can also read an interview with the band over at our comrades in arms Pastepunk.
