Converge, Rise Against, Tiger Army, the Bronx confirmed for Groezrock 2007

Europe's mega-punkfest, Groezrock has announced the preliminary lineup for their 16th year. Included are Converge, Rise Against, the Bronx, Tiger Army and the Cancer Bats; with more acts expected to be announced soon. The festival will take place in Belgium (specific location not announced yet) on April 27 and 28.

I saw a video of when Bad Religion played this festival back in 2004 playing a song I'd rarely heard them play live on video or in concert, "Man with a Mission". It was one of their best songs I've heard in a festival setting.

Wish I could attend one of these big European Festivals....and I agree w/ Dante...Jager's American tour sucks...although they did sponser Gwar for a tour or two...and Slayer I believe

might have to do some recon. from the UK on this one - the website doesnt have a lot of information on it at present and it doesnt appear anywhere in the UK sells tickets and therefore its gonna cost a fortune to get over there & to the festival!!

I've emailed the festival organisers & will post what i receive back if anyone's interested!

I went last year for the first time, and damn it works out cheap. Ticket is only £30, my return flight (from London City Airport) was only £80.

I swear next year if i have to look at any more douchebag dirtbike riders and their famous stars and straps clothes i'll do something crazy. Look for it in the news.

Ja, I've been saying this for a couple years now. Warped used to be the alternative to the.... well "alternative(TM)" music festivals. We need something new so that the 3 punk bands left can drop off that travelling shopping mall.

This year we had Bad Religion, DKM, SOIA, Lawrence Arms, Latterman, Comeback kid, A wilhelm scream, NUFAN, Goldfinger, Anti-Flag, Thrice, The Gimmes...

I can't see how they can do better in 2007.
