Punk Core signs Monster Squad

Punk Core Records have announced the signing of Northern California's Monster Squad. The band has previously released a slew of EPs as well as their debut Strength Through Pain from Charged Records and has shared the stage with acts from Cheap Sex to the Casualties.

And even thouth this was accounced unofficially about a month ago, it is still a good signing. I think Monster Squad is a pretty decent band. And Punk Core is starting to make good signings, such as Career Soldiers and now Monster Squad.

Their latest split CD was pretty good to me.

hilarious name. i just imagine a legion of cookie monsters trudging down the street groaning something about "C is for cookie and that's good enough for me".

i guess you are much younger than me. haven't you ever seen the movie "monster squad" - classic 80s movie. so classic it wasn't released on dvd :(

ok i gotta say it... wolfman has nards!!! i just watched that movie a few weeks ago on an old vhs, but alas, it is not yet on dvd. so sad.

This band is actually really good. "Strength Through Pain" is such a good album.
