Sound Scene Revolution covers Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies

Bay Area podcast Sound Scene Revolution will be posting their first episode of the New Year on Tuesday, January 9. The episode features Fat Mike and Joey Cape of Fat Wreck Chords' Me First and The Gimme Gimmes discussing various topics including their bad luck in Pittsburgh and why Fat Mike never heard "Free Bird".

The episode also features several tracks from the Gimmes' new album Love Their Country as well as a chance to enter to win a copy of the album and a poster of the band. The episode can be streamed or downloaded here or via the iTunes Music Store.

I'd like to add two things,
1) Gimme Gimmes is misspelled, but that's my bad.
2) They really were nice about the whole thing. Mike shook my hand afterwards and said he was saorry if he came off like a jerk.
I really screwed the pooch on this interview but at least it has Fat Mike and Joey Cape.

You know maybe it wasn't the best interviw but I really enjoyed myself listening to it. It's almost as funny as the fatwreck podcasts. But I'm just curious, and dont take offence to this but did you really tought it was gonna be serious?

Did I think the interview was going to be serious? Naw, of course not.
Mike just seemed to take a little too much enjoyment in not answering my questions. I just wish I was a little more prepared for what I was walking into. I think it turned out to be a pretty funny interview, but that was because of the jokes between Mike and Joey, I think the same could have been done if we just left them with a tape recorder.
