Thick has announced the signing of Elgin, Illinois-based The Brokedowns. The band promises a sound that is "genuine, aggro, and gritty, with no frills, and a solid sense of humor to boot" and the label alludes to Dillinger Four, Crimpshrine, Leatherface and cheap beer.
The band will make their debut for Thick on May 8th, 2007. You can check out some of their music on their myspace page. Thick Records (35 comments)

Thick may be the most underrated label out there. The Brokedowns, Seven Story Mountain, Four Star Alarm, & Model Actress are all great bands. 3+ Replies
