Media: Lifetime posts "Airport Monday Morning" video

Lifetime's new video "Airport Monday Morning" has surfaced online. The song itself debuted earlier this week along with re-recorded versions of both songs from the Two Songs 7" via an e-card here.

The songs will all appear on the upcoming self-titled album from Lifetime. The disc is due out February 6th via the Fueled By Ramen imprint Decaydance Records.

I think "All Night Long" is the strongest song they've released yet. Still should be good since every song yet has been right on par with expectations.

3 reasons why Lifetime will not make money for FBR:

1. Not TOTALLY HAWT.
2. Singing not like a girl.
3. Video: Totally after the fact. FBR bands thrive on "sick videos" for underage girls to love.

while Descendents > Lifetime (duh!), I think there's more than enough room for both in my album rotation.

Hate to break it to you, but many consider The Descendents to be a bit on the 'overrated' side. I don't but some do.

Lifetime is the precursor to Kid Dynamite, Paint it Black, Armalite, and a whole slew of other bands, what's not to like?

Just because the Descendents are better than Lifetime doesn't automatically make Lifetime unlistenable.

a complete lack of energy, a fake crowd who were probably given cue cards, the song didn't grab me at all, it was too posed.

What are you talking about? It was a real show. Lifetime played 2 free shows in NYC a few weeks ago and made an open announcement about it. The crowd only knew the words because the band had to "play" the video song several times to get a variety of angles/shots.

this video shoot was absolutely amazing. they played for about 3 and a half hours all of jerseys and a majority of hello bastards, swamps and star69 and airport monday morning many times. any band that wants to treat their fans like that are cool in my book. nearly 40 songs

Yeah dude. It was awesome too how they didn't even use the setlist. Just took requests. Like, after the show I went up and got Scott's setlist, and laughed looking at it because it wasn't even remotely close to what they played.

I really like these three songs. But I have to wonder, how do so many of these same people make fun of so-called emo lyrics and songs, and then get all up on Lifetime's nuts after hearing these three jams?
