Dillinger Escape Plan posts trailer for new album, promises September release

Dillinger Escape Plan has posted a trailer highlighting their upcoming album and follow up to 2004's Miss Machine. Besides providing a rough recording of the one the tracks, the trailer promises a September release for the highly anticipated record.

As much as I love this band, and I really do they are fucking great, I always think their drummer spends WAAAY too much time on that fuckin snare! I know the guy has talent so come on guy...venture the kit a little!

dude.... the snare is like 1/3 of his touring kit (at least the last few). the guy is a genius. he spends a lot of time on the snare, yes, but this guy could play on a chub of bologna and it would still kick ass! nic.

Oh I know it and thats why I said what I did. You know their songs would sound even more kick ass if he took a little time off of it. Just gets a little overbearing is all I'm saying. But don't get me wrong, I fuckin love em and I know he's full of talent. In fact, I think he takes his playing more serious than anyone I've heard of. So ya, was just throwin that out there.

i definitely agree. the snare can be a little too much, but i've been a drummer for a long time and i get a kick out of all of the snare work. he takes his playing extremely serious. but yeah, i hear what you're saying. nic.
