Bloodshot Records signs Detroit's Gore Gore Girls

Detroit's Gore Gore Girls have announced joining the Bloodshot Records family. Named for low budget thrill-king Herschell Gordon Lewis's 1972 film, The Gore Gore Girls, the band is known for non-stop touring and incendiary live performances, including being chosen for Little Steven's Underground Garage Rolling RnR Show tour.

The group plans to release their third full length, Get The Gore, this summer

Great live show. Saw them at the Hamtramck Blowout last year, pretty damn good.... not bad looking either, but that could just be musician's stage mystique...

I'm pretty underwhelmed with 'em. If you want a really good all girl garage band, check out the Husbands.

Too bad Ben Weasel had a band called Gore Gore Girls 10 years ago. Get a clue!
