On Monday Feb 19 we're all finally getting on a plane bound for Los Angeles to commence pre-production and sessions to record the follow-up album to Armed Love. It's been a long time and at this point we're more excited than we've ever been to get in the studio. We'll keep you updated throughout the process. The band released Armed Love in 2005. The album, also produced by Rubin, had a troubled release in North America as it remained shelved for months due to a distribution-related issues at their US label American Recordings.
Umea, Sweden's (International) Noise Conspiracy are set to hit the studio this coming Monday. The band will again record with famed producer Rick Rubin (Johnny Cash, Slayer, Rage Against The Machine). From their website:

the wine they'll be served on their first class flight to LA was made from the crushed hearts of the proletariat. "smash it up" indeed.

that album should have been shelved.

this band always seemed a bit dissappointing to me in the aftermath of refused...

Regardless of your thoughts about their recorded albums, there's really no disputing they are still one of the best live bands out there.

I almost bought the first Lost Patrol album for 8 bucks last night, but then I remembered how Lyxxen has a 50% failure rate, and just pocketed the cash for the bus.

didn't think this band was gonna get another crack at major labeldom, we all knew the explosion weren't going to get one
Citizen_Crack (February 19, 2007)
does anyone ever wonder about the label being "American" and their symbol being an inverted flag?

Armed Love was horrible. In other neo-glam garage news-- the new song by The mooney Suzuki is crap.. I hope (T)INC is through being sucky.

I've never heard anything by them, so do they sound like The Make Up or Weird War more? |
