The (International) Noise Conspiracy in the studio Monday

Umea, Sweden's (International) Noise Conspiracy are set to hit the studio this coming Monday. The band will again record with famed producer Rick Rubin (Johnny Cash, Slayer, Rage Against The Machine). From their website:

On Monday Feb 19 we're all finally getting on a plane bound for Los Angeles to commence pre-production and sessions to record the follow-up album to Armed Love. It's been a long time and at this point we're more excited than we've ever been to get in the studio. We'll keep you updated throughout the process.

The band released Armed Love in 2005. The album, also produced by Rubin, had a troubled release in North America as it remained shelved for months due to a distribution-related issues at their US label American Recordings.

it wasn't terrible, but it sure as hell was no "new morning changing weather". i found myself skipping through half the album between the first 5 tracks, and the last (non-bonus track) one.

And New Morning Changing Weather wasn't as good as Survival Sickness. Actually, the only INC album I listen to much is The First Conspiracy, which I learned not too long ago is just Dennis Lyxzén aping The Make-Up.

Summer 2004 I ordered it from Sweden
It took about a month and I was really bummed out when I heard it after seeing their awesome live show at warped tour
It grew on me somewhat especially "Let's Make History" and "Communist Moon" but its pretty undistinguished rock n roll
