Grammy-nominated thrash act Slayer has announced a trip to Australia. Last year, Slayer released their new album, Christ Illusion which was their first in five years.

Hey you should definitely give Undisputed Attitude a listen, which is a punk cover album..Arrays fucking nails the vocals and the drummer (whose name I forget) is awesome too.

I agree, most of them do. Their type of thrash was always too simple for me. Give me Megadeth or Metallica (pre black album) any day of anything Slayer has done.

That's because he is Saddam Hussein. It's all part of America's grand cover up. Hussein helped us out too much in the 1980's for us to be completely fucked up and kill him.
Instead we killed Tom and made Hussein tour with Slayer for the rest of his life as punishment.

you know, after i overdid leftover crack after Fuck World Trade i thought i would never listen to them again
but you know what? the new split is actually listenable. i am pleasantly surprised.

World War IV was pretty sweet but its the only song I've heard off the split except for one Citizen Fish song, but to me every Citizen Fish song is same-y. As for WWIV, its a little different than Fuck World Trade, but I liked it.

The newest slayer album is fuckin shit.

Only good thing aboutthis tour is Mastodon. I have to weigh up a decision of psneding time with a bunch of fat middle aged metalheads probably sweatier than pigs just to see Mastodon or just cross my fingers they'll do a sideshow.
