Chicago's Holy Roman Empire have announced the completion of their new record, The Longue Duree. The record is due out June 05, 2007via Hewhocorrupts, Inc. and the band is promising a new video clip each week leading up to the release. Those will appear on their myspace page.
The album was recorded at Atlas Studios (Rise Against, the Lawrence Arms) with Matt Allison and Neil Hennessey. The band features veterans of hardcore bands and includes guitarist Jay Jancetic (ex-Arma Angelus, Stabbed By Words), bassist Geoff Reu (Killing Tree), drummer Tony Tintari (ex-Rise Against, Shai Hulud) as well as vocalist Emily Schambra (Long Distance Runner) Punknews.org spoke to guitarist Neeraj Kane about the band last year.
