According to Billboard.com, the soundtrack for the film, Let Fury Have the Hour: The Punk Rock Politics of Joe Strummer has been announced.

The film adapts the book of the same name, based on writings by journalist/filmmaker/activist Antonino D'Ambrosio. It was produced by prominent actor/activist Tim Robbins, and is planned to examine both the influence of the Clash and politically motivated musicians in the same vein.

The soundtrack itself will include Ted Leo, Chuck D (Public Enemy), Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie, The Postal Service), Mos Def, Moby and Radio 4 who also provide the score. Though the focus of the film is not yet known, the publisher described the book thusly:

Let Fury Have the Hour collects articles, interviews, essays and reviews that chronicle Strummer's life both as a musician and a political activisst. Included are essays and interviews by Antonino D'Ambrosio, alongside contributions from Peter Silverton, Billy Bragg, Ann Scanlon, Lester Bangs, Sylvie Simmons, Charlie Bertsch, Greil Marcus, Amy Phillips, Joe Schalit and others.
