New track from Rage Against The Machine available, set list from Coachella

While the press is covering the band's much anticipated reunion performance at Coachella, a video has been released featuring a new track from from Tom Morello and and Zack de la Rocha's performance in Chicago for the 2007 Coalition of Immokalee Workers Truth Tour

The April 14th rally celebrates the announcement that McDonalds will meet all of the demands made by the CIW, a community-based farmworker organization whose members are largely Latino, Haitian, and Mayan Indian immigrants working in low-wage jobs throughout the state of Florida.

Every single one of these songs has been played on KROQ (which literally sucks RATM's dick in promoting them, IMHO).

Not that RATM are bad--but RATM really knew that constant radio airplay had kept them alive while they're broken up & their CD's filled used CD stores...

If you idiots knew a thing about union culture, you'd realize songs like this aren't meant to titilate lil punk rawk kids, and there is a history of sweet, simple, union name checking songs.

Harlan County USA is one film with such a kickass soundtrack of songs. And also a pretty killer documentary.

This wouldn't show up on a new rage cd for instance, its about a moment in localized history. It's nice it got recorded.

To any dumbass who is calling this selling out,

Rage Against the Machine has been making tons of cash since the 90's. They will be making tons of cash now. No difference. That alone negates any possibility of selling out. On top of that, the guys from Rage have always supported a number of social and political causes. A fair majority of the money they make has been used in a worthwhile manor. I feel a lot better about Rage making a few million with a couple million going to meaningful places as opposed to say a Rolling Stones or someone who will spend it on a new house or some new crap they don't need.

And finally, I was at the show. Zach was grinning from ear to ear anytime he wasn't screaming. I had never seen them before, but I have seen dozens of DVD bootlegs, and Zach rarely smiles, it's just the intense stare we all know and

This song kicks ass!! It's a great mix of Tom Morello's The Nightwatchman and the RAGE we all know and love. Most people commenting just don't understand that this is nothing more than a protest song. And a fuckin' good one, too!

No one here likes it because it doesn't have Chris Cornell dancing around in leather pants with explosions going off in the background.
