Neurosis posts mini-documentary on upcoming album

The members of Neurosis have posted a documentary detailing their experiences while recording the band's new album. The record is titled Given To The Rising and is due out May 08, 2007.

In unrelated news. Minus the Bear were awesome last night. The new songs were great.Chin Up, Chin Up were great too. The Honorary Title blew balls.

Agreed, I saw them on the tour for Through Silver in Blood (yeah, I'm old) and it was easily the most intense live set I've ever seen.

Quite possibly one of the most influential if not THE most influential band in heavy hardcore. If you don't hear them in Mastodon, Converge, Tragedy, Isis (please!) right down to older bands like Union of Uranus and Rorschach. The best part of this band is that they haven't started to suck yet. They've been at this longer than most kids buying Green Day records, shit they're old school Bay Area punks, probably hung out with Metallica in the Kill'em All days. Anyhow, great band and should definitely be respected. >OUT.
