Innerparty System signs to Stolen Transmission... in blood

Perhaps taking warning about signing to a label a little seriously, Innerparty System has signed to Stolen Transmission, in blood. You can check out a fairly gross video of the signing here.

I agree. While not everyone here might not like the music put forth by Stolen Transimission, Sara is a very nice person, who signs bands that she actually likes, and wants to help support.

Granted shes not signing straight ahead punk bands,but isn't that form of 'music business' what everyone here wants?

I think you're in love with Sarah. I've never seen someone be so offended by a comment over a nobody.

"Nobody" is right. It's amazing how someone can gain a small bit of notoriety for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except hang out with bands. How in the fuck did that turn into a column for fucking Spin magazine???

Plus, her "book" was a fucking joke. Hey, I can write playlists of my favorite songs, too -- quick, Random House, give me a book deal!

This is about Innerpartysystem, but if you guys are gonna go on a crazy "I met Sarah two times" rant, then I'll join in: I met her outside of irving plaza while trying to get tickets to see a show. She saw me asking a scalper for a ticket, grabbed me by the arm, and handed me two tickets and two VIP passes, and then told me that she was DJing the afterparty and invited me to go. When I got to the party there was a line to get in, and she happened to be outside and saw me, and again, brought me and my friend inside. Then inside, she bought me and my friend a round of drinks, gave us a hug, and went off to DJ. I really enjoyed her set, even if the mixing was a bit haphazored. I emailed her on MySpace to thank her and she just said "anytime!" or something really simple like that.

So if that's the type of person that is full of themselves, then let

Two things:
1) Legally binding contracts can only be signed in blue of black ink. Red (or blood) doesn't apply.
2) I learned that fact in the Creed "Behind the Music" (a good laugh), because they did this first.
Way to rip off the worlds worst band...ever.

If you want to get nitpicky, Kiss' original contract had them siging with blood-infused ink similar to what tey did for the first printing of their comic book back in the day.
