Pinky Ring Records has announced the signing of Brooklyn natives the Braves. The band formed in late 2004, released a mixtape entitled Random Ish I Threw Together Vol.1 in early 2005 and will release their debut full-length Reporting Live this summer through the label.
You can check out some of the band's material on MySpace. Pinky Ring Records (16 comments)

Lame. There already was a band called the Braves who have released two albums in recent years, most recently on Johann's Face Records. I know it's kind of a generic name, but at least do a quick search on amazon or interpunk to see if the name is taken.

I'm going to see the Braves tonight. Fortunately not this band. At least with last night's rainout I'll get to see Smoltz pitch. Go Sox. | Features
