Media: New music from Damnation AD, A Perfect Murder

Victory has posted new music from two upcoming releases. The first is the long-awaited album from hardcore pioneers Damnation AD. The record is titled In This Life or The Next and is due out June 12, 2007. You can check out "Jigsaw" and "Knot" on their myspace page.

The second comes from A Perfect Murder. The record is titled War of Aggression and also is due out June 12, 2007. You can check out the title track and "Within" on their myspace page

when i read these "first" posts, i envision said poster to be between 13-16 years of age, short, heavyset, face full of zits, peanut butter stains on his hot-topic atreyu shirt, a terrible combover emo swoopy bangs hairdo with two bottles worth of hair gel holding it all together, surrounded by empty soda cans and dungeons & dragons hand-painted figurines.
a socially-awkward friendless nerd, said poster can be seen sitting in his moms basement somewhere deep in the sticks of middle-america with nothing better to do than to sit here and scan articles just to post that stupid comment.
said poster also has nothing mentally stimulating enough to add to the conversation, other than pointing out the fact that he was "first" to post a comment.
dear kid: get a life, go do a band, make a zine, ask a girl out on a date, whatever- just please do SOMETHING meaningful for

The new Damnation record is a bit of a letdown.

Seriously, why did they let Karl Buechner freaking sing guest vocals in the reworked version of "Addiction"? Heck, why even rework the old tunes?

Ahhh, well heres hoping it makes them some decent money regardless. I'd definitely rather see these guys racking in the green, then the bulk of the bands in the "limelight" at the moment.

we've gotten to the point where we're calling damnation ad "hardcore pioneers"? mid-90s hardcore was for the most part awful, and this band was no exception...
