Cave In members form Pet Genius

There's a new act on Hydra Head and once you fight through the bizarre available info you'll find some familiar faces. Pet Genius is a three piece featuring Cave In's Steve Brodsky (credited as "StoveTop Bredsky"), Johnny Coolbreeze of Clouds, Hydronaut, and the Octave Museum and "JR John Junior " (who we're pretty sure is Cave In's John Robert Conners). They played their first show on June 6th in Somerville, Massachusetts and two songs can be streamed via MySpace. We assume there are plans for a future release, but no further details are available yet.

I dont know why... But this makes me laugh. I really hope it's awesome, it should be as nearly all post-Cave In groups sound great so far.

That new Clouds album "legendary demo" is so fucking good. Definitely one of my favorites to come out so far this year.

don't front on zozobra, that was pretty decent too. but yeah, that clouds ep shreds. the reggae fart jam at the end kinda brought it down though.

yeah, they don't seem like they are going to break up, they are all still working with eachother.
