The guy above is retarded. Slayer is one of the first bands to combine the speed of Minor Threat and Dead Kennedys with the more "evil" riffs and tunings of metal. Whether or not you like Slayer they represent an important milestone in "extreme" music, metal and punk/hardcore alike.

Now, let's not rush to judgment. I had assumed that Slayer was just going to sacrifice that phoney on an alter. Man, I'd pay some good money to see that.

That one left me scratching my head.
