Alive signs Left Lane Cruiser and November 6 Street

Alive Records has added two new bands to their roster. The label has signed Fort Wayne, Indiana's garage / blues / punk duo Left Lane Cruiser. The band will hit the studio in September to record a full length for a January 2008 release.

The label has also signed November 6 Street, a new band from Memphis multi-instrumentalist "musical cardshark" Ron Franklin. The band, which plays what the label describes as "a mess of alleyway songs, bottleneck manifestos and harmonica confessions" will release a full length on the label in October.

it annoys me when bands use metaphors even they don't understand to describe what their music sounds like, simply because they think it makes them sound deep
