While the full details are absent, The Blasting Room has revealed that they will be recording the next album from Less Than Jake. Anticipation is high for the record, particulary since it will be the first since the band parted ways with Warner Bros. and Fueled by Ramen.
The new record is the follow up to In with the Out Crowd. Ska and Reggae (124 comments)

It seems that any band that steps into the blasting room comes out with an awesome sounding record. 1+ Reply

The Blasting Room has made some badass records in the past. Hopefully this foolows the trend.

Can't wait till hear this Florida band's new release. Florida pop-rockers Yellowcard have put together a new ablum also, not sure where it was recorded, but it's hitting the streets soon, keep your ears and eyes open! They wear their heart on their sleeve! 11+ Replies

Maybe it'll be just like Reel Big Fish, they lose their contract with the big man and record their first awesome record in a while. BTW, Reel Big Fish's new album kicks ass, something that hasn't been seen in a while. 3+ Replies

This has got to be the first LTJ post in a while that didn't get flamed to all hell. I was under the imression that everyone here hated LTJ. Or is that only when theyre signed to a major? 4+ Replies

As long as they put out a great record, I don't really care if they're on a major/indy or any of that crap. They've put out great records before so I have faith.
Someone (July 13, 2007)
everyone will sweat LTJ again now that they're off a major and recording at the blasting room. yet most don't realize that the band worked with Howard Benson on their last record...the same man who was behind Hello Rockview. don't expect that much of a drastic change 2+ Replies

The Blasting Room and parting ways with a major label did wonders for the Suicide Machines. It gave them a new career! Could the same be said for LTJ??? 3+ Replies

How is this tour? How is Streetlight manifesto and Against All authority looking? 1+ Reply

They're getting back into it surprisingly soon. It seems the longer bands are around, the further apart they space their records, but it's only been a year since Out Crowd.

i wish vinnie posted on here (you know he already looks at this shit all the time), so he can confirm that they signed to fat again.

In With the Out Crowd wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.... its tough to follow up releases like Losing Streak, Hello Rockview, and Pezcore

for christ's sake, LTJ is not going to Fat or Side One. 3+ Replies

I have always loved Less Than Jake, until their last record. It could be the worst album I've ever heard. If I wanted to listen to a sell-out, corporately controlled, angst-filled, time wasting album with no ska and no punk rock on the whole fucking thing I'd pick up My Chemical Romance or Fall Out Boy or The Used or some other shit filled bitch-fest. | Features
