Frank Black on Lil' Bush tonight

Frank Black, the legendary singer/songwriter behind The Pixies is the latest musician to participate in Lil' Bush, the star studded new animated series from Comedy Central. The show includes Iggy Pop, Jeff Tweedy, Colin Meloy, Dave Grohl, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and more. It is a series of cartoons created by Donick Cary, a writer of The Simpsons. The show previously appeared on recently defunct mobile carrier Amp'd Mobile, and has been picked up a six episode run beginning this month. Pop will be playing Lil Rummy, and other characters include Lil' Condi, Lil' Cheney, Lil' Jeb and of course, Lil Bush.

In science class, Lil' George struggles with the concept of evolution and along the way finds 'Goddy' (voiced by Wilco's Jeff Tweedy), while Lil' Cheney meets the Devil as played by Black.

In my personal opinion, the Pixies are the second greatest--if not the greatest--band of all time. Does that opinion sound really farfetched?

I think they are decent as best.

I'll give the violent femmes a spin over the pixies anyday, but that's just me. No one can deny their influence, though.

I don't even like Weezer.

However, yeah, I adore Jawbreaker, but realistically I'd put them behind in the Pixies in terms of variety of musical output.

And no, I've actually only heard about 7 bands.

They are my favorite band, but I'm not sure about the greatest. As far as greatest, I'd say they're up there, but the Velvet Underground might have them beat. Neck and Neck, in my opinion.

does anyone around here watch Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends? personally i think its the best cartoon going right now.

Lil Bush, not so much. outside of a chuckle at the first time i heard iggy's voice as lil rummy i don't think i've laughed at the show at all.

this show blows. i snickered to myself one time and every other time was just another one of my braincells exploding due to a lack of humor. On the bight side, it's much easier (and cheaper) to kill my brain cells in such a fashion.
