Underground Operations signs The Holly Springs Disaster

Underground Operations has signed Saskatchewan's Holly Springs Disaster.

The hardcore band will be releasing their debut for the label, titled Motion Sickness Love on September 11th. A track from the album can be found on their myspace page.

I've really liked some of the recent Underground Operations bands (I Hate Sally, Brat Attack for two examples) but don't dig this really.. Other people may, personally they sound too much like a cross between an average hardcore band and US hard rock/metal band..

I dislike those two bands you mentionned. I don't know, I always prefered Bombs Over Providence and Hostage Life. Was never a big hardcore fan. And I think I'm growing out of punk, now, too.

This record label sucks. Colin needs to leave that Hostage Life band and start up Marilyn's Vitamins again

these guys are so great. it's awesome to see them get signed after watching them play tiny shows for the past couple of years

worst band. you couldn't find a better example of a "oh, this kinda music is getting dorky little girls to buy t-shirts? lets start the most cliche band ever so we can get on the tail end of this dying trend" band.

UO has dropped off huge.
Respect to london for doing his thing but such a bummer good bands can't sell records.
