The Jazz June have announced some details on their upcoming CD/DVD release. The CD will contain 17 live, rare and unreleased tracks from the band's career, including the first new material released since 2003. Accompanying the CD is an eleven-track bonus DVD featuring a four-camera shoot of the Jazz June's January 13th 2007 benefit show at the North Star in Philadelphia. Proceeds from the sales of this CD / DVD combo will go to the Adam Gerherdt fund, named their long time friend and dedicated roadie who has developed a severe form of brain cancer.
The compilation hits stores on September 18 via MVD.
