New Jersey ska-punk act Streetlight Manifesto continues the slow trickle of information about their long-awaited new album. The record will be titled Somewhere In The Between. The date and all further details remain TBA for the time being.
The band has finished the follow-up to the 2006's re-recording of the Keasbey Nights album. Victory Records (69 comments)

This band is so shitty and overrated. Fuck third wave ska bullshit. 2+ Replies

They should have named the album "A Call To Arms," because then it would have been a Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution album, so I'd probably like it more.

Cool, I like the name. 9+ Replies

This has been such a long time coming... I skipped their version of Keasby Nights (I doubt it could top the original) and generally lost track of this band. Hopefully this new album will be as good as their first.

I'm really tired of the slow trickle of info related to the record and the future of this band. I like the band, but this really needs to stop. 1+ Reply

I fucking love ska, but I honestly don't know what the big deal about this band is. Their first cd was ok at best, and their version of Keasbey sucks compared to the old one.

This album will probably be pretty good, but it will definitely be WAY overhyped and overrated.

this album better be epic after the amount of time this has taken for any real information at all

So is it fashionable to hate Streetlight, now? Yeah it's frustrating when one of your favorite bands delays their album something like 17 times, but I don't see how anyone that likes ska (and if you don't like ska, I really don't see why you read this story, just to say "omg fuck ska gay it sucks lol") can dislike this band. 5+ Replies

Hope there's more slow stuff on this than the usual 1 song Kalnoky is known for. That's really the only qualm I have with the band.

So that means they didn't have a title when they announced that they were done recording it a couple of weeks ago? 1+ Reply
