Rat Patrol to release In The Red (ex-Gunmoll) debut

In The Red, which features former Gunmoller Mike Hale, will be releasing their debut CD on Rat Patrol Records in Mid-October. The album is titled Volume 1 and will feature 8 tracks. You can hear some previews and preorder the album here. The band is leaving next week for some dates on the Planes Mistaken For Stars farewell tour and then gearing up for touring out to The Fest.

The band recently dropped a split 7" with Git Some on 1234 Go! Records and has another split 7" being released on Halloween through Pirates Press Records, with San Francisco's the Excuse.

In related news, frontman Mike Hale has just released his split 7" with Chris Wollard(the Draft, Hot Water Music) on Asian Man Records, with a full length to follow shortly.

I'm sick at home and missing classes. I have just about every episode of the Simpsons at my disposal and I've really never gotten into the show. Someone give me the all-time best episode to watch. I know you people are into this.

The Halloween episodes, particularly the one with "Dial Z For Zombies" (I think it's on season 4).

Stay away from any episodes after, oh...season 10, I'd say.

Don't forget that In The Red also has a split CD with Genrevolta. It's equally awesome as the split with Git Some.

I think Mike Hale's solo record is supposed to be out on Asian Man sometime this year as well...

Is Rat Patrol the only label it's offered on? I think they might just be doing the LP, that's all their website lists. Additionally, as Rat Patrol is UK based is there anyone state side putting this out?

we're doing the lp and cd worldwide and at the moment we've just got the vinyl up for pre-order

also the record will be distro' through No Idea when it come's out but all 'pre-orders' will get coloured wax

Curse you Rat Patrol and your knowledge of my love of colored (cloured in this case) wax. I'll probably pre-order this in a week or two. I've already got the Chuck Ragan and New Mexican disaster 7 inches on pre-order, why not make it all three?
