Bloc Party have announced that they have completed work on a new single, due out both on CD and 7-inch in the UK, and digitally in North America. The record is titled Flux and is due out November 20, 2007. It is the follow-up to A Weekend in the City which was released in 2007.
According to fansite blocparty.net, the song will be backed by "Emma Kate's Accident" on the CD and live favourite "The Once And Future King" on the viny versionl. 'Flux' was recorded by Jacknife Lee, during the band's week in the studio after Reading and Leeds. The band will be appearing on Conan O'Brien tonight and are promising to debut the song there.
