Less Than Jake, I Am the Avalanche, Chiodos, Finch and more at Bamboozle 2008

Next year's Bamboozle will take place on May 3rd and 4th at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, NJ. The first slate of bands for the annual event has been announced, with this year's line up to include Less Than Jake, I Am The Avalanche, Chiodos, Finch, the Starting Line, Paramore, Mindless Self Indulgence, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Forever The Sickest Kids and Jack's Mannequin. Tickets for the two day event go on sale in the next few weeks, with some passes available now. Check the event's website for details.

The Bamboozle expects to host 100 bands next year spread over 10 stages.

skate and surf was one of the last times the Descendents played wasn't it? they may have only done 1 or 2 shows after that. that was an awesome show. face to face, alkaline trio, bouncing souls and descendents. now bamboozle is a fucking joke.

Alright! Looks like they're having a Bamboozle Left on the west coast this year. Finally I can actually avoid this thing on account of I don't want to go instead of just because it's on the other side of the country.

How is it possible to have 100 bands, in New Jersey of all places, and none of them be any good? I have never heard anything out of NJ I didn't like; even if it was secretly.

when I saw Vinnie play movielife songs acoustic in Philly, he confirmed there are some reunion shows in the works, so this could quite possibly be one.

I remember going to a Movielife show shortly before they broke up. Oddly enough it was one of the best shows I'd ever seen, it had nothing to do with the music though. The band jumped off stage and kicked a bouncer's ass for choking a girl out in the crowd. Just for doing that, I'd see them again.

Best part of Bamboozle for me last year was the interaction between my friend (aged 23) and some bitch (under 21, probably 18 or so)
