I've lived in Europe for too much of my life to actually be able to attend Warped...but I'm still not all too sure if I should bother this time.

I think the clear fact is they're not really marketing to the Punknews demographic. If the Fest was a touring festival it would attract maybe 1,000 to 5,000 kids a show and punknews kids would be stoked. As is Warped brings in 25,000 a show and punknews kids hate it. Simple fact is that this just isn't the marketed demographic for Warped Tour anymore.

i promised myself i'd never go back to the warped tour, and the street dogs jump on this? oh damn, now i probably will go, because this will be the closest they come to ND in a LONG time.

I try not to be a negative nancy about everything that Punk News throws at us, but this is seriously a shit line-up. (Aside from The Bronx)

Does Warped pay bands well? It always surprises me to see a small handful of bands I like thrown in with the rest of that garbage.

Hopefully their just announcing these bands to get them out of the way, something tells me the rest of the bands are gonna be skate punk bands. One can hope that is the case

a fine assortment of good and terrible. wonder how many dates the good bands like Street Dogs are actually going to be doing though.

One of the consistantly great live bands out there right now. My favorite DKM stuff was with Mike McColgan anyway, so it made perfect sense that the Street Dogs would be just as good, if not better and to me, I'm right. I see them whenever I can, can't wait for the new album

I love me some Street Dogs, but I am not sure I love them enough to see them without a bar, because their music just makes me think of drinking.

I love how some of you youngsters act like the Warped Tour isn't punk anymore. The funny thing is, it never was. Ever! Unfortunately, life is like a Bob Marley song "you don't know your past you wont know your future." If you really understood the etiology of this little punk rock community, you wouldn't even waste your time worrying about Warped Tour, Radio Shows, Lollapalooza, Bamboozle, etc... You'd just go to them to be entertained, blow some cash on bottled water and shit in a port-a-potty. Take it for what it's worth, like anything else in life; however, realize that it's totally separate from "punk" or any idea of "radicalism." No need to even waste your time getting bent out of shape.

Soooooo, of the 18 bands there is 1 would want to see - - The Bronx. So, looks like I won't lose any sleep if I miss it - again - this year.

The closest ive been, and ever will be to warped tour, was when i picked up a compilation cd about 4 years ago..

I don't know why you guys are complaining, there may actually be enough here to entertain me into going this year. I mean, The Bronx, Against Me!, Reel Big Fish, The Briggs, Street Dogs...sure, thats just 5 out of 18 announced, but if they keep putting a few decent bands along with this from-first-to-last-shitfest, theres going to be more than enough to keep dudes like us happy for a day.

i don't feel like sweating through six hours of shit just to hear a thirty minute set that i kind of like.

The LA date last year was kind of good. They had a whole stage where Adolescents, Fear, Agent Orange and etc... played. This was along with Bad Religion and Tiger Army.

I look forward to seeing the line up every year in hopes that they'll have atleast 4 or 5 bands that i'd go for. Dissapointed again.

Remember when the Warped Tour had bands like Lagwagon, Guttermouth, Bouncing Souls, Bad Religion, No Use For A Name? I want to fucking hang Kevin Lyman. Fuck All these shit bands.

Wait, is Against Me! on Warped Tour or not? That'd be sweet if they were. I'm 23 and I still dig warped tour. Sure, most of the bands are shit, but If I can pay $30 to see even 4-5 bands I like, then I'll be happy. I'd love to see RBF, Bronx, Street Dogs, Briggs and Against Me!, and chances are, they'll add at least one or two more decent bands. I'd really like to see more ska (Bosstones!!!) on the tour next year as well.
