Able Baker Fox have posted a new song from their upcoming debut for Second Nature. The record is titled Voices and is available for pre-order now.
The band features guitarist Nathan Ellis (The Casket Lottery, Coalesce, Jackie Carol), guitarist Mike Reed (Small Brown Bike, LaSalle), bassist Ben Reed (Small Brown Bike, The Great Sea Serpents) and drummer Jeff Gensterblum (Small Brown Bike, The Holy Fire). Ellis and the Reeds all contribute vocals to the project. You can check out "Face on Fire" as well as two other songs on their myspace page. The band will be supporting Hot Water Music on one of their upcoming reunion shows. Second Nature Recordings (9 comments)

I like it. I like SBB more though and The Casket Lottery I'd consider one of my favourite bands so I guess my hopes were too high.

Jackie Carol is one of my favorite bands in the Kansas City area. I like this, but it feels like a step back from the Jackie Carol record. Not enough Nathan on vocals either. Still, a solid debut.

i heard this on a sampler CD my friend had and when I found out it was small brown bike dudes I was even more stoked. The stuff is awesome.

I hate myspace, lots of great bands on there, but I don't have an account and I don't care to fight with their player, do they filter every song through a baby's diaper?
On a side note Ben Reed is a super dude and I'll support anything he damn well does.
