Panic! At the Disco look to be following Fall Out Boy by taking on headlining duties for the 2008 edition of the Honda Civic Tour. The tour will hit 45 cities in North America and will provide support for the band's upcoming sophomore album, Pretty. Odd which is due out March 25, 2008.
As in years past, a one-of-a-kind Honda Civic Hybrid, designed by members of Panic!, will be showcased at each tour stop. The tour will also feature "eco spots," where attendees can educate themselves about environmental-friendly issues including solar backpacks and re-usable water bottles. You can find some more details in the billboard article. Decaydance (32 comments)

Once a band does this tour and "designs" a Honda car their credibility is gone for me. 2+ Replies

I hope this tour achieves the ultimate insult: booking in large venues and having to downsize due to poor ticket sales through out the tour. BURN!

If this tour were really ultra-green, it should probably not use stage lighting, buses, huge stadiums...and etc. Al Gore redid his entire eighty year old house and even though he uses jets, I think he's legitimate. But I think PATD! really could give a shit less about the environment or green causes... 1+ Reply

I love watching the footage of the lead singer douche getting rocked by a bottle.

So this band sticks an exclamation mark in the middle of their band name and a full stop in the name of their album? Are they trying to work out the most awkward to pronounce way to do everything? Is the title of their next album going to consist entirely of consonants and semi-colons? Goddam I hate it all.

this interview made me stop hating them

There's a couple of seats still free in my Hummer if anyone needs a ride to one of these shows.
