The Fad post music, album details

The Fad have posted music, art and the track listing from their upcoming album for Bankshot!. The record is titled Kill Punk Rock Stars and is due out February 19, 2008. The band is compared to a variety of acts including Gorilla Biscuits, Bad Brains, The Specials, Kid Dynamite, The Suicide Machines, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Against Me!.

My band played with them a couple months back and there was like 10 people there but they rocked the fuck out of that place. I love these guys. They were selling the album already on tour so i got that shit, word. Its sweet.

No, I bought a copy in the middle of december off jimmy doyle at a big d show and it has the bankshot logo on the back, so I think it was always on bankshot

I must say they are a bunch of solid dudes, and the album is a great mix of tons of good styles and works out well. One song will sound like Common Rider with a guy shouting, one will be hardcore punk as fuck, and it's all done well. I'd suggest everyone picks up a copy of this, then offers them a Stroh's when they come to your town.

"Kill Punk Rock Stars" sounds exactly like the Nerve Agents' "Prey". For once, that's a good thing.
